Brian has a diverse background encompassing both soccer and finance. He has excelled in his roles as a player and coach in the world of soccer, while also establishing a successful career in finance. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of Chief Financial Officer at Park West. Playing Career:


During his formative years in soccer, Brian Riggs was an integral part of the Pateadores, showcasing his skills on the field from 1989 to 1993. His passion for the game led him to Saint Louis University, where he continued his soccer journey from 1993 to 1996.


Brian transitioned from being a player to a coach, contributing to the growth of the sport. He embarked on his coaching journey by mentoring young talents at El Toro High School from 1998 to 2000. Simultaneously, he extended his expertise to San Juan Soccer Club and Irvine Strikers during this period. Further solidifying his coaching credentials, he served as the Assistant Coach for the University of Tulsa Men's Soccer team from 2000 to 2002.


Education has played a pivotal role in shaping Brian's career. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Louis University in 1997, providing him with a strong foundation in the financial world. Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, he pursued further education, attaining a Master in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa in 2002.


Currently, Brian Riggs holds the prestigious role of Chief Financial Officer at Park West. His expertise in finance and strategic financial management serves as a testament to his dedication and proficiency in this field.


Brian's commitment to the soccer community is evident through his role as a member of the Pateadores Board of Directors. He assumed this position in 2012 and continues to actively contribute to the organization. His involvement in this role underscores his enduring dedication to the sport and its development.

SAUL WOLF


SECRETARY

Saul is an attorney with a specialization in civil litigation, with a particular focus on representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse and sexual assault in their civil claims against both the perpetrators and the institutional entities that enabled such abuse. In addition to his legal career, Saul has been actively involved with the Pats for five years, serving as a board member.


Saul is also an alumnus of the Pats, and he has a deep connection to the organization, as his son and daughter are currently playing for the club. This demonstrates his commitment to youth sports and his desire to support the development of young athletes.


Saul's educational background is impressive. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) in 2002, graduating cum laude. His academic achievements led to his induction into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, a prestigious recognition of his scholarly accomplishments.


Before pursuing a legal career, Saul Wolf also had a successful collegiate soccer career. He played college soccer at both Wake Forest and UC Irvine, further showcasing his passion for the sport. During his time at UCI, he not only contributed on the field but also served as the Captain of the men's soccer team. His dedication to both academics and athletics culminated in his recognition as an Academic All-American during his senior season.


Saul continued his education by attending law school at Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2006. His academic excellence and commitment to pursuing justice are evident in his academic achievements and his career as an attorney, particularly in his advocacy for survivors of sexual abuse.


Soccer plays a significant role in his life, not only as a former player but also as a coach and a spectator. His family's involvement in the Pats organization, along with his dedication to youth soccer, reinforces his commitment to both his community and the sport.

RAY FERNANDEZ


TREASURER

Ray has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and healthcare industry. Prior to joining OneDigital in 2018, he led his own firm to become one of the premier employee benefit consulting firms in the industry that delivered a unique value proposition with services such as Absence Management Administration, Global Insurance Solutions and other customized solutions. Ray is an experienced employee benefit consultant representing clients in various industries including banking, technology, major retailers, higher education institutions, national chain restaurants and other high profile companies. He particularly excels at serving clients that have complex needs including employers that are publicly traded, have self-funded plans, multi-state locations and organizations seeking profitable growth through global expansion.



As a student-athlete, Ray was recruited by several of the nation's top universities including the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he accepted an athletic scholarship to play soccer. He graduated from UCLA earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. In addition, he helped the UCLA Soccer Team win the NCAA National Championship, while being recognized and awarded team MVP honors. Ray continues to play soccer and remains actively involved with athletic sports in Southern California. As a resident in South Orange County, Ray enjoys his personal time with his wife and children. He also takes great pride in being involved with his local community such as the Boys & Girls Club organization and being a donor to various charitable organizations.
